Citing Voc4Cat¶
If you use Voc4Cat in publications or software, please cite the deposited vocabulary either using the version-independent general citation
Voc4Cat – A SKOS Vocabulary for the Catalysis Disciplines. nfdi4cat/voc4cat. Zenodo. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.8313340
or (preferred) the exact version that you used, e.g.
Linke, D., Moustakas, N., Doerr, M., Schumann, J., Götte, M., Borgelt, H., Nentwich, M., Terboven, C., & Flecken, F. (2025). Voc4Cat – A SKOS Vocabulary for the Catalysis Disciplines, Release 2025-10-14 (v2025-10-14). Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17351357

Guiding principles¶
Voc4Cat follows a set of guiding principles – openness of data, openness of code, and open infrastructure – to ensure the vocabulary remains discoverable, reusable and maintainable over time.
A recent paper refers to these underlying ideas as “O3” (open data, open code, open infrastructure). For more see C. Hoyt and B. Gyori, 2024.
